No, Lynne, Giving Heart of America is not the original car donation charity. If we were, we might be doing things like everyone else. Instead, we had the advantage of seeing how little everyone else was earning for people in need, and designed a program to fix that problem.

The original approach was selling cars at a quick-cash auction. But the 2005 tax legislation has made that a very poor choice. Through our Managed Donation Program, we repair donated cars and sell them through retail dealers. That means more proceeds for our Operation Fallen Hero program and a much larger tax deduction for you. Please give us a chance to prove it.
